Annual General Meeting 2018

Agenda

All SECED members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society. A full agenda has been distributed to all SECED members (via email) and is also provided below.

6. RESOLUTIONS
   Proposal to create a nominated member place for EEFIT therefore increasing the number of committee members to 14 and to make the post of Vice Chairman Ex Officio (revision of attached SECED Statutes).
   The AGM is asked to agree to revise the SECED Statutes accordingly.
7. ELECTION TO THE COMMITTEE
   Results of nominations/elections to be reported.
8. ANY OTHER BUSINESS

   Wednesday 24th April 2019 at the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Any resolutions duly supported by not less than five members of the Society and notified to the Secretary not less than seven days before the date of the Annual General Meeting, shall be dealt with at the meeting.

The AGM is followed by the EEFIT AGM and the evening meeting, Integrating Atomic Observations into Evolutionary Models: a Paradigm Change for (Multi-risk) Exposure and Vulnerability Modelling and Post-event Reconnaissance.

Nominations

This year, there are two vacancies for elected members on the Committee. At the time of writing, four nominations have been received (in alphabetical order: Marianna Ercolino, Fabio Freddi, Andreas Nielsen & Marc Scorer). Since the number of candidates exceed the number of vacancies, ballot forms have been sent out to all members of the society (via email). Members are therefore requested to vote for up to two candidates using the distributed ballot form. If you are a member and you did not receive the ballot form, please contact the SECED Secretary. Ballot forms must reach the Secretary no later than 4.30 pm on Wednesday 25^th April 2018.
